Since moving to Exeter a few years ago, I always looked forward to seeing Street Heat performing at events like Pride – the music was so infectious and everyone looked like they were having so much fun. I came to a workshop in late 2016 to try it out for myself and I was hooked! I love the way that the individual rhythms combine to create such a rich complex sound. As well as being a member of Street Heat I also enjoy playing the oboe in an amateur orchestra.
